What data, and why?

With your consent, we email you about the Magilex portal launch and news about Magilex documents, legal support and services. We record your email address, language, consent text and version, and request, confirmation and unsubscribe times. We ask you to confirm your email before adding you to the mailing list. Signing up does not create a portal account.

The form uses a necessary session cookie. To prevent abuse, we retain keyed rate-limit identifiers derived from your IP address and email for up to two hours. Standard hosting security logs may contain your IP address. This teaser page uses no advertising or analytics cookies and no email open or click tracking.

Contact form enquiries

The contact form collects your name, email address, selected topic and message so we can reply and discuss a possible service. Processing is based on steps taken at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering other correspondence. The enquiry is sent through Resend only to the Magilex inbox at info@magilex.ee, with your address set as the reply address. We do not store the message body in the website database. Enquiries that do not lead to a service are generally retained in the inbox for up to 6 months after the last substantive exchange; retention for a service is explained in its terms. To prevent duplicate delivery, we retain a technical sending reference, message hash and delivery status for 30 days. Using the contact form does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

How can you unsubscribe, and how long do we keep data?

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@magilex.ee at any time. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Unconfirmed requests are deleted after 30 days. We retain confirmed subscriptions while consent remains valid and review the need at least annually. After you unsubscribe, data is used only to respect that choice and, where necessary, demonstrate consent, never to send news. We assess deletion requests separately, taking into account the need to retain evidence and a suppression record.

Service providers and data location

The website and subscription database are hosted by Elkdata OÜ (Veebimajutus.ee). We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) to send confirmation emails and updates, sharing the recipient address and email content; contact enquiries also include the name, reply address and message entered in the form. Resend processing includes the United States; a European sending region does not mean all data is stored in the EU. Your rights
